Introduction
This policy aims to give you as our customer information about how Mizo AB processes personal data when you book and use our services. The policy explains why and how personal data is collected and how you, as a registered user, can invoke your rights in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
Mizo complies with current legislation for personal data protection and always strives to improve the processing and protection of your personal data. It is of utmost importance to us that you feel safe and secure when you use the services we offer. The policy aims to help you get an overview of the processing of the personal data you choose to share with us or that we collect when you book or use our services. We follow the following basic principles to protect your privacy:

Information about collection and processing
We collect personal data in different ways depending on how you choose to book and use our services:
When you book a trip by phone, we collect some of the information specified in p. 1 below.
When you book a trip and/or create a user profile using our booking application (“App”) or our website, we collect the information specified below in p. 1-5.
When you use our app or website, we collect the information specified below in p. 6.
When you contact us with inquiries or comments on our services, we collect the information specified below in p.7.
Our use of contact information, pick-up and destination address, selected payment options and other information necessary for us to be able to provide a correct, smooth and safe journey, peripheral services and to administer payment takes place on the legal basis, performance of a contract. We are unable to provide the service without this information being provided and are allowed to be used by us.
When we use contact details, location information and booking history as well as other information from your booking to facilitate your future bookings and send you targeted and customized offers via e-mail or SMS, it is for the purposes of our legitimate interests. If you do not allow us to use the data for these purposes, our services to you may be limited.
If you accept notifications in the App, we will send messages about, for example, that the car is on its way or that indicate an estimated arrival time. The processing takes place with the support of our legitimate interests. If you do not allow us to use the data for these purposes, our services to you may be limited.
To increase the safety of you and our drivers, the vehicles are maybe equipped with a camera that takes pictures and video in the passenger compartment at certain intervals and can also record sound in an emergency. The use of the cameras is for the purposes of our legitimate interests where, in our opinion, the increased security of the photography outweighs the possible breach of privacy that you as a customer may experience, especially taking into account that the images are not accessible to anyone other than certain authorized personnel who are granted access only at serious incidents and are saved for a limited time.
In cases where you contact us via e-mail, telephone, post or other forms of communication with a request or other matter related to your booking or our services, third-party will save data from the communication and its content in order to be able to get back to you or document your point of view, which also takes place for the purposes of our legitimate interests and can
If you have consented to the use of cookies on our website, based on your consent, we process the information created by cookies when you visit the website so that you, as a user, can use the website in the manner intended by us and for statistics.
Contact and address information etc.:
When you request a booking, depending on the way the booking is made, we will collect the following information: name, telephone number, e-mail address, pick-up and destination address and information about the payment options you choose. Please note that Mizo does not have access to information about your payment card or other bank details. Payment card information is sent via an encrypted connection directly to the bank and the payment is secured by Stripe. User data is saved as long as you have a registered user profile and have not requested that the data be deleted and for a further 3 months. To the extent that storage for a longer period of time is required to comply with accounting or other public law regulations, the data is saved for the time required and is then used solely for that purpose.Location information:
If you accept that terms about the location you are at the time of booking is shared with Mizo, Mizo uses the location information in connection with your booking. The location information function is only used when the App is in use (for customers), which means that it is not active in the background when the App is not in use (not for driver). You can choose to turn off location information on your phone at any time if you do not want to share the information with us. Location information is saved with your booking and thus has the same storage time as booking history (see below).Booking history:
To facilitate your bookings, we use information from your previous bookings. Information about the respective bookings is stored for certain months after the trip was made.Information from your use of our services via Mizo App.
We store information from your use of the App and our website and can, based on this, send customized offers and other marketing to you via e-mail or SMS. You can at any time refuse us to use data for this purpose by using the unsubscribe option available in the offers we send you. The data is saved as long as you have a registered user profile and have not requested that the data be deleted or as described in this policy. To the extent that storage for a longer period of time is required to comply with accounting or other public law regulations, the data is saved for the time required and is then used solely for that purpose.Cookies and technology from third parties:
We process the information created by cookies when you visit the website and the App, such as the length of your visit to the website, the number of page views and the choices you make on the website. The data is stored for 13 months.
We may also allow others to provide visitor statistics and analytics services for us, display advertisements on our behalf, and track and report the results of those advertisements.Camera in the vehicles:
The vehicles are maybe equipped with a camera inside the car which, in order to increase the safety of passengers and drivers, takes pictures in the passenger compartment at certain intervals. If an emergency should arise, the driver can also activate audio recording of what is happening in the car. Images and sounds are stored locally on the camera and only Mizo is authorized to access images and sounds in the event of serious incidents. The images are automatically deleted from the camera after a maximum of 30 days and the sound after three months.When you contact us:
If you contact us by e-mail, telephone, post or other forms of communication, we may save contact details and the content of the correspondence. The data is stored for 6 months. If the data concerns a serious complaint or incident, the data is saved until the handling of the complaint or incident is completed.
Transfer of personal data to other Companies and Organizations
The personal data about you that we use is treated confidentially and mainly within Mizo organization. Within the framework of the purposes stated above and with the support of the same legal grounds, the data may also be provided to third parties or linked with other registers of our partners and suppliers in the following areas:
– Third party

– Service for payment via digital bookings
– The police authority, in case of suspicion of crime
– Municipalities and county councils, statistical data
– Service providers, for receipt data used in the presentation of receipts.
To the extent that the recipient of data handles the data on behalf of Mizo, the recipient’s handling takes place in accordance with the terms of a personal data processing agreement with Mizo. Otherwise, the recipient himself is the personal data controller for his processing of personal data.

According to law, you have rights regarding your personal data and how these are processed by personal data controllers. In the text below you will find a brief description of your rights and how you can exercise them. Please note that there are certain restrictions for you to be able to exercise the rights. Mizo can only meet your rights if we can verify your identity with certainty.

You have the right to be informed about the processing of your personal data that we carry out. In addition to the information, you receive here in the policy, you can always contact us with questions at sales@mizo.se.
Access to personal data:
You have the right to access your personal data that we process, to the extent that the request is made at reasonable intervals and that it does not restrict the rights of another individual. We may charge an administrative fee for handling repeat requests.
Correction, deletion, limitation and objection to processing:
Our systems are built so that you have the opportunity to correct and complete your personal data in your user profile, so that the data is always up to date. If you experience technical issues around this, please contact us so we can help keep your personal data complete and accurate, see the Contact Information section above. Under certain circumstances, you have the right to have your personal data deleted, for example if there is no longer any need to process the personal data. You can delete your user profile directly in the App. If we need the information to be able to fulfill an agreement with you or if there are legal requirements for us to retain the personal data, we cannot delete your personal data.
